Our client is a successful high growth business to business support services provider employing over 10,000 people in the UK. Thirty years of growth in highly competitive markets is sustained by above average levels of customer service and an innovative approach to organising and delivering a wide range of outsourced business processes including through PFI partnerships, the design, construction, financing and management of new public service facilities. This new opportunity is for an imaginative specialist to develop and implement policies creating a climate that makes the group an employer of choice and to enable people to develop to their maximum potential.
The Task Reporting to the Group Managing Director for the development of management talent and the promotion of a corporate culture of performance and innovation throughout the Group. Build strong relationships with key figures to inspire a commonality of quality and purpose to meet changing environmental business needs. Develop and implement state of the art MD / OD strategies with strong internal and external networks to engender knowledge sharing, motivation, and harmonisation in a highly customer and quality focused Company. Evaluate management and drive leadership initiatives to establish efficient hierarchies.	The Candidate The ideal candidate could come from variety of commercial backgrounds where results are highly sensitive to people management issues. Graduate calibre with a successful track record in Personnel Development in a major UK Company in a customer facing industry. A strong grasp of strategic and business issues with the ability to communicate and build relationships at the highest levels. A pragmatic and enthusiastic self-starter with proven team building / people skills with an open and direct approach to internal relationships. An outstanding communicator, influential, charismatic and inspirational character.
